Where is the party held?

My little Tea Party is a mobile party company that comes to your location. Most parties are held in your home OR I can also set up at your clubhouse, church hall or other venue. The only requirements to have your party are to have table space and adequate seating. We can do outside parties only if the weather permits.

What areas does My little Tea party service?

I am located in Gonzales Louisiana and I serve the South Baton Rouge, Prairieville and Gonzales areas. A gas surcharge of will be added to any party which is 20 mile (one way) from Gonzales. This is according to Map quest.

How much advance notice do I need in order to book a party?

You should book your party quickly. Four to six weeks in advance is recommended.

Sometimes we can accommodate parties with shorter notices. Call to see if your date is available.

What's the minimum /maximum amount of children for a party?

The party packages have a minimum of 5 children (including the birthday child).

Parties smaller than 10 will still be charged for 10 children. To have the most enjoyable party I recommend between 8-12 guests . Each child after 10 will be $15.00.

What age group is most suited for Tea Parties and Fairy-land?

ANY-AGE!!! A tea party is better for four year olds and up. Fairy-land is good for three to around seven year olds. Spa-rific parties are good for pre-teens and teens.Cheetah Girlz/Hanah Montana Diva Parties are best suited for seven years old and up! Luau's are fun for any age! The Dino Digs & Pirate Parties are great for any age Boy or Girl! Sorry no boys for the Spa Parties!!

What about boys if I'm having a Dress-up party?

If there will be boys at the party (siblings, relatives or other boys).Please notify me in advance and I will bring dress-up items for them I have fancy jackets, Superheros Pirates or Knights. Dress-up Parties are designed for girls but boys can still have fun dressing –up doing crafts, dancing the hokey pokey and having Tea.

Can I book a party for a Sunday or mid-week?

Sure! Parties can be accommodated on any day of the week.

When do you need to know the final RSVP count?

Two days before the party I will contact you to confirm your final count. In order for me to prepare for your party, I must have this final count.

On the day of the party what time will you arrive, how long does the party last and how do I prepare?

I will arrive 45 minutes before the party is to start. At this time I will be setting up for the party. The party will last one hour and thirty minutes . Character parties last two hours. Please have plenty of floor space for the dress up items and your table cleared.

What about parents, siblings or unexpected guests?

Parents are welcome to stay and join the fun .Please note that the party package only covers the planned guest. You will need to provide any additional supplies or food for parents, grandparents, siblings etc.

What if I need to cancel or change my party date?

Due to the nature of our business, if you must cancel your party for any reason your deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee BUT we will try to work with you to schedule an alternative date (based upon availability). In the event of unforeseen circumstances or extreme weather conditions My little Tea Party reserves the right to reschedule your party.

What kind of foods do you recommend to be served at the party?

I recommend you have several different things to serve the children.  P.B.& j's, Ham & Cheese sandwiches, cookies, fruits (sliced) The only things we ask not to serve are chocolate (white chocolate is O.k.) And any drinks that are dark in color. (Kool-aid, red punches etc..)

Can I have my party outside?

Yes! You may have your party outside, if the weather is nice and dry. Our dresses cannot be worn near mud or other possible things that might cause stains (e.g. grass.)

Our Characters can appear anywhere. Parks, Back yards or preschool etc.

What is the best alternative to having a big party?

You might want to have one of our delightful Characters to stop by and do fun face painting, make-up and nail sessions, read a story, play a game cut the cake or do the Hokey Pokey with your special birthday child and all of her guests!!

What should the party guest wear?

****Please ask your guest to wear a swim-suit or leotard. This allows for easy dressing. Boys can dress over with any costume we have.

What will I need for the party?

You will need a table (with chairs) large enough for for the birthday child and all of her guests, A table for cake and presents ....

You will also need floor space to dress-up and dance.An outlet is required for music.
